Associate Attorney - Corporate/Tax Transactions
B.J. Kang Law, PC, a boutique corporate and tax law firm located in Del Ray, Alexandria, Virginia, is looking for a motivated, productive, and collaborative Associate Attorney to work predominantly on Tax, Corporate, Healthcare, and Biotech law related matters. The firm has a collegial office culture and is looking for a candidate to work under the supervision of the firm’s partners. The position will require the Associate to perform a significant volume of legal research and writing, work directly with corporate clients, and support the firm’s attorneys in all aspects of the firm’s legal practice. The Associate position is ideal for a recent graduate from law school or an individual who is returning to practice after having taken time off.

Requirements
I. Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Prior work and/or academic experience with healthcare, regulatory, tax and/or transactional law
- An active bar license
- Strong work ethic, superior organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment under time constraints
- Excellent legal research, communication and writing skills
- Desire to grow with a firm and work both independently and as a collaborative team member
- Meticulous attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to effectively and efficiently handle a significant workload
- Ability to communicate in Korean and English

Job Type
- Part-Time (.5 FTE)
Compensation Package
- Hourly Rate is commensurate with experience ($30.00 to $75.00)
- Expense reimbursement for approved client development activities
