2024 Summer Legal Internship
B.J. Kang Law, PC, a boutique corporate and tax law firm located in Del Ray, Alexandria, Virginia, is looking for a confident, analytical, organized, and personable Corporate/Tax Transactions Legal Intern for Summer of 2024. As part of the Firm's Internship, you will work on a number of exciting legal matters with the Firm's attorneys and other individuals. The Firm provides counsel to numerous businesses covering a wide spectrum of industries, including healthcare, biotechnology, life sciences, and financial/investment services. The Firm regularly represents buyers, sellers, and advisors in M&A transactions. Additionally, the Firm counsels international individuals and entities on a number of issues, including the application of domestic tax law to transactions and wealth planning matters.

Qualifications
- Completed at least two (2) year of law school at an ABA-accredited law school
- Excellent verbal communication skills; strong analytical skills
- Strong academic credentials, excellent attention to detail, and exceptional research and writing skills
- Familiarity with, or a genuine interest in, either (a) corporate, tax, and transactional law, as well as startup culture, business and commercial affairs, and corporate governance, or (b) healthcare law, compliance, and reporting

The firm has a collegial office culture and is looking for a candidate to work under the supervision of the firm’s partner. The position will require the Associate to perform a significant volume of legal research and writing, work directly with corporate clients, and support the firm’s partner in all aspects of the firm’s legal practice. The Associate position is ideal for a recent graduate from law school.

Job Type

Compensation Package
- Hourly Rate is commensurate with experience ($30.00- $60.00)
